USS Co., Ltd. today announced a change in a major shareholder as of January 22, 2009.
1. Reason for change
Futoshi Hattori, chairman and representative director of USS, is a major shareholder and the company’s largest shareholder. Mr. Hattori has donated 700,000 shares of USS stock, representing part of his total USS holdings, to the Hattori International Scholarship Foundation, where he serves as president.
