Comments on Used Car Auction Data (January 2026)

The number of auctions held in January increased one auction at six sites including HAA-Kobe and Kyusyu sites, and decreased one auction at Yokohama and R-Nagoya sites, compared to the same month in the previous fiscal year because of calendar factors.
As a result, the number of consigned vehicles was up 6.3% (YoY), and the number of contract completions was up 14.4% (YoY).

Year on year comparison (calendar factor adjusted)

After adjusting for calendar-related factors, the results for USS Group auctions in January 2026 compared with the corresponding period of the previous year (January 2, 2025 to February 1, 2025) were as follows.
In addition, due to differences in auction holiday, both Yokohama and R-Nagoya sites each held one fewer auction compared to the previous fiscal year.
